JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a positive, engaged special teacher/special educator or mathematics teacher who can become part of a professional team. The student health team consists of trained staff and is a competent student health team. The foundation of our work in student health is to develop our cross-professional work together.

The role of the special teacher/special educator includes providing support in the classroom, conducting assessments, investigations, follow-ups, and evaluations at various levels, as well as guidance and consultation to management and other educators. The support will primarily be directed towards mathematics. We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and experience working in teams. A good approach is also important, towards both students and guardians as well as colleagues. You should have structure and order in your work methods.

We would like you to be flexible and outgoing and that you want to work for the continued development of the operations. You will work individually with students, as well as with students in groups. You will be part of the school's student health team and work closely with the special educator. Your role will be important for the school's student health and school development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated special teacher/special educator or a teacher with subject competence in visual arts. Your work is based on scientific principles and proven experience.

We believe that you easily create relationships, enjoy working together in teams, and inspire and get inspired by your colleagues in the team. You believe in collaboration and contribute collegially to both your own and your colleagues' development.

You are convinced that all children and students can succeed and that you are a very important part of that. You recognize the importance of rich and broad teaching/operations and are stimulated by the work of searching for methods for each child's learning. You enjoy and are good at working closely with students in an active mentorship role.

Using digital tools is a natural part of your teaching profession, and you strive to develop your own and especially your students' digital competence.

We need you to be ready to invest wholeheartedly in the children/students and be flexible and responsive to both children and parents. You should be able to use a solution-focused approach and have the ability to elicit trust from students and parents. The psychosocial work environment should be based on openness, collaboration, and curiosity.
